Flamingo Card

This is for the Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge to use a flamingo off of Life is a Beach in any color other than pink. I never would have thought to cut out a blue/multi-colored flamingo, but I think it turned out way cute! I also used the photo card feature for the card base. The sentiment "Thinking of You & Smiling" is from Sweet n Sassy stamps. Hope you like it!

Fabulous Sophistication

I love the Summer in Paris cartridge. The shoe was perfect with the sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I used my glue stamp pad to use glitter on the flourishes (Autumn Leaves) in the background. The great shaped card is off of A Child's Year. Hope you have a fabulous day!

Lots of Purses from TBBM!!

I made bunches of these little purses from TBBM with 2-sided papers (mostly Amy Butler) and put some Hershey's treasures inside as favors for a brunch last Saturday. I think the ladies enjoyed them! I always try to do something that makes women feel a bit pampered...I think that's sooo important...after all we are daughters of the King! :)

Simple Layout

I made this super simple layout following a Srapbooks, Etc. sketch. Cuttlebugging the circular pieces and inking them gives added texture. The journaling box is a Teresa Collins stamp. I am submitting this to the Lasting Memories LO Challenge blog. Simple is truly my scrapbook style!

Cards of Appreciation

I am trying to do a good job of remembering to appreciate all of the amazing volunteers at my church. Here are a couple of cards that will help me do that. My goal is to be diligent to send at least one (maybe two) cards each week...So far the recipients have loved them. Everyone likes to be appreciated! The lamb is from Animal Kingdom and that is the tree I love off of Serenade.

Joy's first Challenge!

My daughter, Joy, was beyond excited when I told her she could enter a challenge for kids on http://crazyaboutcricut.blogspot.com/! We found a $1 notebook, "very boyish", she said, but she changed that. I covered it for her and made the cuts (alphabet Cindy Loo), but she did the rest. She told me she wanted flowers and to put her name across the middle and what colors she wanted everything. She loves to cuttlebug and she stamped the faces on the flowers with my PKS, too. She is 6 and my husband says she is too much like me! LOL

You Shine

This was a fun little card that will be perfect to thank one of the awesome volunteers at my church. The cloud is probably my favorite image off the Serenade cart and the sun is an old punch I have. The circles (rain) is a MS border punch. Lots of glitter as always, too!
