Hugs to You Card

Here is a card I made for a dear friend of mine using the Beyond Birthdays cartridge and CTMH paper.

Pillowcase Dress

I had so much fun making dresses

out of a set of pillowcases my grandma found secondhand. I love how sweet and summery and vintage-y it turned out. I made one for my daughter and one for my little niece. They both loved them. I used the instructions off of Embroidery Library except I used ribbons as drawstrings through a casing.

Design Team Call

I entered the call on this lovely-looking blog http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com/ , Lasting Memories. I would love to have the motivation to do some beautful layouts on a regular basis.

Scrapbook Pages 2 for Logan

These are a few more of the pages I did for Logan's book. I loved the pic of him raising his hands in victory. The font is my much loved Pooh font. The layout of the Sante Fe River comes from A Child's Year, both the font and images, except the sun, which is from Accent Essentials and it's stickled (I had to sneak a little glitter in!). The corner flourishes out of the dark purple are from Story book. The "Coffey Kids" are out of another great Font, Lyrical Letters.

"You did it" Card - Beyond Birthdays

Wow. I can't believe I've had this cart forever and never used this "framed" feature. It was soooo quick and easy and I really like the shape of the envelope...very trendy. A hint I heard a long time ago is to cut the envelope first with the "Fit to Page" feature on. Notice what size it cuts at. Mine was 9" in this case. Then turn the Fit to Page function off and set the machine at that size (9") to cut the card...a perfect fit!

Scrapbook Pages 1 for Logan

The night after we celebrated my daughter's Kindergarten graduation, my stepson graduated from High School! His mother and I both scrapbook separately some pages from the years (we did this for his older brother and sister as well) and then put them in one album for him. Here are a few. I love, love all the cuts on A Child's Year. I have a few more pages to post soon. The great waves are from Life's A Beach. And of course, I used my cuttlebug, too!

Kindergarten Graduation Goodies!

I was so excited for my daughter to graduate Kindergarten! We had this sweet little ceremony. The moms all brought things to put into goody bags for the kids. Since there were only 5, I was able to go a little above and beyond. These crayon rolls and bookmarks from Sewing for Sarah were fun and super-fast! The moms and kids all seemed to be happy with them. It's nice to be able to give something that will last for a while and be a keepsake, too. :)
