Ladybug Treats

We made cute little ladybugs from berries following the directions at NWF. We omitted the "legs" because I couldn't find the peel-type licorice, but the kids enjoyed them.

I embroidered this piece for my sister's birthday. She teaches Language Arts at a high school so I thought she could use this to decorate her classroom. I used this great design from Embroidery Library. The stitch time was really long but there were only a few color changes.

Creative Operation

I bought my Zutter the day after Thanksgiving last year on a terrific sale and have been dying to use it, but was a bit intimidated. I shouldn't have been. Me, the girl who enjoys reading instructions, just had to skim them and (gasp!) look at the pictures to figure this nifty little gadget out.

Here is what I made in very little time today:

It was so fun and I can't wait to embellish it. There are 12 tags in as many pockets plus 8 pages if you count the covers. You can fit a lot of pictures and journaling in that little mini! The pretty papers are Close To My Heart and the ribbons are just scraps.

Sweet Blessings LO

This layout was created with the Bitten By The Bug 2 challenge in mind to use a birdhouse or birdcage. My birdhouse is from Cindy Loo along with the sentiment "Blessings". "Sweet" is off Create a Critter and the bird is Serenade. A Child's Year is the beautifully shaped mat. Can't wait for the perfect pic to fill this layout! Blessings to you, today, my friends!
