Chic Baby Blanket, Pink and Zebra

Made this for a dear friend and it is soooo "her"!  Can't wait to give it to her.  I wanted to share since I love the way the embossed backdrop (Shield 7 from Embroidery Library) really lets the text be read so easily even on this crazy plush fabric.  Takes about an extra 30 minutes of embroidery time, but so worth it, I think.  :)

Happy Kitchen Towels

I just love these chalkboard designs from Embroidery Library.  I made them for my grandma.  So bright and happy!

Mason Jar Placemats

I made these for my mom for Mother's Day.  It was actually pretty difficult to find some nice blank placemats that weren't too thick to embroider.  Finally found these at Target and I do like the color.  The designs from Embroidery Library were so sweet and just reminded me of my mom.

Pretty Pony Overalls

I loved these sweet Pretty Pony designs from Embroidery Library.  The raggedy applique alphabet is from Lynnie Pinnie.

I opened up one seam to do the pant leg.  As you can see, the design came out perfectly!

It was so much fun giving these as a Christmas gift.

Baseball Bling

We went to a week long baseball tournament last summer.  This called for some serious baseball bling!!!  My daughter and I found this adorable project on Pinterest (where else?) and just had to make our own.  We watched this TUTORIAL which really helped.  We did resort to clear gorilla glue to adhere the flowers to the straps and clamped binder clips to hold it all together until cured.
I was so pleased at how easily my machine embroidered the baseball leather.  This was a little big for a keychain.  It has found a new home as a luggage tag on my son's suitcase. :)

Here is one of the cuffs I made.  I just used embroidery floss to re-stitch the seams (also for the keychain) and stitched an elastic loop to one end and a button to the other.  I always get compliments on my baseball bling!
I loved getting a baseball pedicure first thing before we had our first game.
Very festive!

Cute Christmas Princesses were a fairly quick in-the-hoop embroidery project.  I purchased the designs from Lynnie Pinnie.  They are fun to personalize and will be nice little keepsakes when the girls are older to remember that they will always be our little princesses.

Etched Casserole Dish and Matching Carrier and Card

I needed a birthday gift for a special friend....and what woman could resist a personalized casserole dish and carrier?  I found this awesome set at my Publix for less than $20.
I used a free font I found online for the embroidery Here as well as to cut out of contact paper with my cricut with Sure Cuts A Lot.

And here is the matching card:
Don't you just love red roses?  And these are stickled so they have bling!
I also embossed this shimmery black cardstock:
The cuts are both from Art Philosophy I think.

Hippie Frog Gift

My sister likes frogs (and we think she is a bit of a hippie---so am I!).  This was another design from Embroidery Library.  I wasn't sure how it would turn out on the black, but I like it!  I did re-embroider a couple of colors that weren't showing up so well.  I also used hotfix crystals on the eyes.  Funky frog!

Chic Butterfly Embroidery for Baby

I love how these designs came out.  One of the best parts is that the designs (from Embroidery Library) are one color, so they stitch up quickly.  I was especially going for a sophisticated look with the pink, black, and silver.

Lacrosse Mom Shirt - Embroidered

Made myself a lax mom shirt.  (I have sooooooo many baseball ones!)  I think this is fun and funky.  It is a design from Designs by Juju.  The head of the stick is a metallic silver. :)

Towels and Totes

If you are an embroiderer, keep an eye out for those end of season deals. Found these on clearance at Target at the end of last summer.

I just added the names and monograms for a sweet bday gift. If it seems a little out of season to you--it's not! I'm blessed to live in the lovely Sunshine State and this is a super-practical gift here. :)

See what I mean? These were from just a couple of weeks ago. So crazy! Stay warm!

Sweet Cupcake Apron

Made a birthday gift for my daughter's little bake-y friend. She likes purple and is pretty good in the kitchen at only 9, going on 10!

My go-to font, MS Curlz, with a great appliqué design from Bunnycup.

A Fall Hostess Gift

My husband's sweet cousin had us over for dinner. I had to bring along a little personalized gift! I love stitching for fall and love how this bold and simple design transformed this lovely little hand towel from Target into something even better:

Fashion Flowers Handtowel

Used Embird to put the lovely lettering on the design (design was a VIP design by Embroidery Library and the font was free from the Internet). The stitch time was crazy long....89 minutes I think....but my sweet mom is so worth it. :)

Sewing for Easter

Just some quick pictures to share a fun idea for the kids.....Easter basket liners! I can't wait to see all the kiddos hunting their eggs this year!

The baskets are inexpensive ($9) at Big Lots and are a nice, generous size. Lots of room for goodies!

I made Joy's & Cade's a couple years ago, but updated Cade's with some appropriate baseball-themed ribbon.

Have a blessed Easter!
