Color Challenge LO

Here's a layout for the All About You: Favorite Color challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut

Green is my favorite color! I love all shades!

I also loooove the gold ochre color of the title "gorgeous" (from Forever Young". Those butterflies are from Graphically Speaking and were perfect for some hot fix crystals. ;) Orange isn't usually my favorite, but I really like it with the green.

Forever Young Challenge

First off, mom (aka Joan), please skip this post and go to the next. You can have this little surprise on Mother's Day!

Everyone else, please scroll down...

Ok, I am thrilled with how this card came out that I made for the Forever Young challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps.

I used the sentiment for my inspiration. I would love a pair of these lovely heels in my wardrobe, wouldn't you? (Of course, I could never walk in them...but that is beside the point.)

I used the Forever Young cart along with some lovely paper roses (Recollections), of course my SMS, and Amy Butler paper (pink and cream polka dots). So here it is...Mom you are not still reading, right?

Keep scrolling, please...

Here we are!

Happy Monday & Happy crafting!!

Wrap it Up Candle Birthday Card

Here is the card I made for the challenge at Bitten by the Bug 2 to use the candle off of the Wrap it Up cartridge and the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut to trim a project with a tag.

I used the Forever Young cartridge for the pretty fancy oval shape and added rhinestones.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the shell corners.  Of course, I used my Scrappy Moms Stamp for the sentiment on the tag (from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More).  My trusty stickles (in Orange Peel and Yellow) from scrapbook.com also added "bling" to the flame.
