Camping in the Keys Scrapbook

We went camping in the Keys (Bahia Honda) last May and it seemed too many photos to put in the regular scrapbook, but not enough to fill a standard Creative Memories album.  I haven't used my zutter too much and I really loved the way my last December's album came out.  I used the chipboard (that comes in my packs of CM pages) as is, with a little inking for distressing on the edges.  The cover is a terrific cut from Pack Your Bags.  Love that cart!  I used gold shimmer cardstock for the sand, distress stickles on the coconuts, embossed the sand with the cuttlebug, and inked the palm leaves.

Inking and stickles:

Embossing and white glitter Thickers for lettering:

Here are only some of the pages.  I used a kit from Personal Scrapper (awesome company with great customer service!).  I kept it so simple, but added lots of great elements and embellishments from my kit.

Border stamps from a new personal scrapper kit (Batik Border Stamps by Paper Trunk).  Rhinestones and flowers by Bo Bunny.

Buttons by Bo Bunny:

My cute camping stamps from Scrappy Moms Stamps:

I sooo love the new Border Maker system with cartridges you switch in and out from CM.  That is how I made the pennants.  I embossed the Batik Border Stamps in black on the right.

Sand dollar from Life's A Beach as well as "Paradise" sentiment, stamped and embossed in gold.

This toucan is from Life's A Beach, too.

My sweet (not crabby) crab is from Pack Your Bags and I used orange glitter cardstock for the top layer.  It looks better in person. :)

Have a happy, summer weekend!!

Envelope Mini Album

I found this adorable mini online here with instructions:

Creative Operation

I bought my Zutter the day after Thanksgiving last year on a terrific sale and have been dying to use it, but was a bit intimidated. I shouldn't have been. Me, the girl who enjoys reading instructions, just had to skim them and (gasp!) look at the pictures to figure this nifty little gadget out.

Here is what I made in very little time today:

It was so fun and I can't wait to embellish it. There are 12 tags in as many pockets plus 8 pages if you count the covers. You can fit a lot of pictures and journaling in that little mini! The pretty papers are Close To My Heart and the ribbons are just scraps.

Hope you have a great night of sleep and a beautiful Sunday tomorrow.

Blessings, Glenda
